"The aim of the project ’’Where there's a will, there's a way’’ is to encourage students to think about how they can contribute to reducing energy consumption and to get rid of existing unsustainable habits. In addition, it is important that students learn where the energy they consume at home and at school come from and how it is produced as well as they have to investigate other possibilities for sustainable living.
The eTwinning project is directed at secondary school students aged 14 - 19 to promote rational use of energy. Based on cooperative work between the schools, they will prepare presentations, google questionnaires, drawings, essays, games, quizzes etc."

OUR ACTIVITIES
Activities A1, A2, A3...
My students have just begun working in groups.
A1) Firstly, they were asked to decide how they wanted to disseminate their works. So, they created their Symbaloo Webmix or their Website where they are supposed to collect all their videos, surveys, documents, files etc.
The first link they attached is a website link dealing with ecological issues. Then, they realized a short movie to introduce themselves.
Step by step they are supposed to fill in all the tiles in the Symbaloo Webmix below.
A2) students made short movies using Biteable so as to describe themselves, their passions, their hobbies, their lives.
A3) Using genial.ly students described our school, our country and our city Padua.
A4) The following task my students were engaged in, was the creation of a Google survey about the sustainable habits/ behaviours people have in everyday life.
A5) The students had to make up creative slogans about green energies.
A6) The students investigated where does the energy, they use every day, come from? What kind of energy plants are there in Italy?
A7) Students used a website to calculate their carbon footprint and analyzed their polluting impact on the natural environment. then they compared their habits with the partners' habits.
A8) Investigation of renewable energies and creation of a digital presentation
A9-A10) How can be energy efficiency be improved? How can we save energy?
A11) Students prepared the QR code of their presentation and works carried out in the project and pasted it on the common poster
Please, have a look at the work they are doing, clicking on the tiles below.
